Welcome to the Fylde Ramblers Group. We are a group of people from all age ranges, brought together
by a love of walking and the countryside. Our group was formed in 1980, when a public meeting was convened
in Wesham and the group was formally launched. In the intervening years the group has faithfully followed the Ramblers Association objectives, vigorously defending local paths and providing a varied walks programme
in many parts of the North-west.
On this site you can find details of our walks programme,
reports of various walks, news of events, contact details, etc.
Ramblers logo This website is funded by the generous bequest of the late Ron Lowe. Ron loved the hills,
enjoyed the companionship of the Fylde Group and wanted to leave 'something of benefit' behind.
