Walk: Whitewell, Seed Hill, River Hodder
Start Point: Whitewell Grid Reference: SD 659 459
Distance: 5.3 miles Ascent: 600 feet
Time: 2.45 hours
Weather: Sunny intervals
Comments: A steep but short climb up Seed Hill at the beginning gave excellent panoramic views. Thereafter the walk went downhill until we reached the Hodder and returned alongside mainly following the contours. The walk was greatly enjoyed by the 32 members attending as it gave near and distant views of the Bowkland Fells.

A stiff climb to start with . . .

but the view is worth it
