Walk: Limbrick, Heath Charnock and Duxbury
Start Point: Spinner's Arms, Cowling Grid Reference: SD 598 167
Distance: 5.5 miles Ascent: -
Time: 2.75 hours
Weather: Fine
Comments: 20 walkers. Recent heavy rain meant that conditions underfoot were generally wet and, in places, quite muddy! A particularly badly drained field between Cowling and Limbrick was avoided by following the road. Other patches of mud, such as in Duxbury Woods were unavoidable. The landlord at the Spinners was, as always, very welcoming.
