Walk: Great Hameldon, Clowbridge Reservoir & site of Gambleside, Hameldon Hill & weather radar station
Start Point: Childers Green Grid Reference: SD 786 309
Distance: 10 miles Ascent: 1,600 feet
Time: 5.5 hours
Weather: Fine and sunny with snow on the ground
Comments: There was no snow on the Fylde but by the time we got to Childers Green there was a little. This got deeper as we climbed up to Great Hameldon (Access Land). Super day.

Great Hameldon is over the top - and the snow is getting deeper!

Looking back, it's a white world out there (nearly)

Pam, June, Dorothy and Norman continue up the path . . .
