Start Point: Rusland Hotel Lay by, off A590 Grid Reference: SD 326 844
Distance: 9 miles Ascent: 1,200 feet
Time: 5 hours    
Weather: Sunny & blue sky, cool to start but warmed up nicely.
Comments: A bright, clear morning saw 16 walkers setting off across fields and woods to visit pretty little hamlets with fine views enhanced by the very clear air.
