Walk: Arnside Tower, Middlebarrow Wood, Eaves Wood and Scout Wood
Start Point: Silverdale Hotel Grid Reference: SD 460 748
Distance: 5 miles Ascent: 550 ft
Time: 3 hours
Weather: Hazy at the start but the sun broke through giving some warmth on this, a beautiful spring morning.
Comments: A very pleasant walk via the beach and then through Middlebarrow Plain to Arnside Tower. Skirting Middlebarrow Hill by using a path through the recently coppiced Middlebarrow Wood we then passed through Eaves Woods on the way to Scout Wood and Woodwell before returning for a bite to eat at the Silverdale Hotel.
