Walk: Edisford Bridge and Low Moor
Start Point: The Aspinall Arms, Great Mitton Grid Reference: SD 717 387
Distance: 5.2 miles Ascent: 411 feet
Time: 4.7 hours
Weather: Overcast with light showers of rain.
Comments: 23 walkers. The route was based on walk 7 in Terry Marsh’s “Walks around Clitheroe” with the start changed to “The Aspinall Arms” and the route extended to Low Moor to cross the Ribble by the new footbridge. We were very grateful to the staff of “The Aspinall Arms” for opening to accommodate us whilst the pub was closed for refurbishment.
