Distance: 8 miles Ascent: 800 feet
Time: 4.25 hours
Weather: Misty to start, rather dull and short spells on sun during afternoon, very muddy.
Comments: After a short spell along the canal, which was being dredged, we then headed north via the field paths and tracks up to Harrock hill and its ruin of an old windmill. East to Dwerry House before heading south back to the canal to return to Parbold.
