Walk: Strawberry Duck (sadly closed), Wayoh Fold, 200 year old coke ovens above Broadhead Clough, Aushaw Moss.
Start Point: Crown & Thistle, Hoddleston Grid Reference: SD 721 197
Distance: 5 miles Ascent: 650 feet
Time: 2.5 hours    
Weather: Overcast with occasional sunny intervals. Started at 11C. (Refreshing for those of us in shorts!)
Comments: Walk was based on walk 22 in Paul Hannon’s “West Pennine Moors” book.
