Walk: Reston Scar, Black Crag, Potter Tarn
Start Point: Wilf's Cafe Mill Yard, Staveley Grid Reference: SD 471 963
Distance: 8 miles Ascent: 1,500 feet
Time: 5 hours    
Weather: Fine with cloud and some sun. Fairly hot at times.
Comments: A varied walk that everyone enjoyed.

Reston Scar

 

Access land but a good path to Black Crag

as we pause and look back to Reston Scar

 

Lunch in the sun at Potter Tarn

 

overlooking the dam . . .

 

but, all too soon, it's time to be on our way
