Walk: Hollingworth Lake, Piethorn Reservoir, Dowry Reservoir, Castleshaw, Millstone Edge, Marsden Moor, White Hill
Start Point: Hollingworth Lake Grid Reference: SD 940 153
Distance: 14 miles Ascent: 2,400 feet
Time: 7 hours
Weather: A dry day, cloudy in the morning but clearing later to give a sunny afternoon. A chilly Easterly wind on exposed ridges.
Comments: Eight attendees were rewarded with a fine clear day with good all round visibility and pleasant walking conditions. A marked contrast from our last visit to the Pennines when we were waist deep in snow.
