Walk: Former Krypton Factor Assault Course, Roger Worthington’s Grave, Pilgrims Cross and the Holcombe/Peel Tower
Start Point: Holcombe Car Park, Lumb Carr Road Grid Reference: SD 781 162
Distance: 8 miles Ascent: 1,270 feet
Time: 4.5 hours
Weather: Fine, sunny intervals with a cool easterly wind over Wet Moss and Holcombe Moor
Comments: 19 in the group including Rambler visitors from West Lancs and Rossendale. The dry weather and winds over the past couple of weeks had dried Wet Moss to such a degree that we saved 30 minutes off the time when the route was reccied.
