Walk: Foulridge Wharf, Foulridge Upper Reservoir, Moss Houses, Noyna End, Mill Hill Bridge on Leeds Liverpool Canal, Hey Fold, Slipper Hill Reservoir, end of Foulridge Canal Tunnel & Foulridge Lower Reservoir.
Start Point: Foulridge Wharf Grid Reference: SD 888 426
Distance: 8.3 miles Ascent: 900 feet
Time: 4.33 hours    
Weather: Mixed sunshine and overcast to snow showers
Comments: We left the Fylde in bright sunshine and arrived at Foulridge in a snow shower. This was the pattern for the day, as we made our way across the fields and past the reservoirs and canal. We could see each shower approaching and although each one was quite heavy it did not last long and did not lie on the ground for very long.
