Walk: Wheelton, Heapey, alongside reservoirs, White Coppice, alongside the Goit, below Wheelton Plantation, Brinscall Hall
Start Point: The Dressers Arms Grid Reference: SD 604212
Distance: 5.6 miles Ascent: 350 feet
Time: 2.8 hours
Weather: Showery initially but then stayed fine and became quite warm
Comments: The fields were very soggy after heavy overnight rain. After a steep climb early in the walk( up to Heapey) much of the walk was along tracks and was easy walking. Coffee break was at White Coppice cricket club a very pretty venue with plenty of benches, though unfortunately no toilet facilities open.
The reservoirs and the Goit connecting the reservoirs were very full.
