|Walk:||Wheelton, Heapey, alongside reservoirs, White Coppice, alongside the Goit, below Wheelton Plantation, Brinscall Hall|
|Start Point:||The Dressers Arms||Grid Reference:||SD 604212|
|Distance:||5.6 miles||Ascent:||350 feet|
|Weather:||Showery initially but then stayed fine and became quite warm|
|Comments:||The fields were very soggy after heavy
overnight rain. After a steep climb early in the walk( up to Heapey)
much of the walk was along tracks and was easy walking. Coffee break
was at White Coppice cricket club – a very pretty venue with plenty
of benches, though unfortunately no toilet facilities open.
The reservoirs and the Goit connecting the reservoirs were very full.
