Walk: High Bentham & Mewith Head
Start Point: High Bentham car park Grid Reference: SD 667 693
Distance: 10 miles Ascent: 1,100 feet
Time: 5.75 hours    
Weather: Mixed overcast with some sunny spells and only one short shower.
Comments: The group of 15 completed a circular walk that set off heading east keeping north of the River Wenning, before turning to cross the river at Skew Bridge. The return west kept to the south of the river, via Mewith Head and its old Hall.

And before long Ingleborough comes into view

 

Heading down to the valley once more . . .
