Start Point: Hare and Hounds Car Park, Abbey Village Grid Reference: SD 644 225
Distance: 5.7 miles Ascent: 500 feet
Time: 2.75 hours    
Weather: Cloudy, brightening up later
Comments: 34 ramblers enjoyed a varied walk, by the reservoirs, field and moorland paths and country lanes to Wheelton Plantation, new bridlepath through the plantation to Brinscall then along the disused railway line back to Abbey Village.
