Walk: Wheelton, Logwood Mill Farm, Brinscall Hall, Pike Lowe, Snape's Heights, across Chorley Road, Withnell Fold, aqueduct, Leeds and Liverpool Canal, by Prospect House, Wheelton
Start Point: Dresser's Arms, Wheelton Grid Reference: SD 604 212
Distance: 5.3 miles Ascent: 450 feet
Time: 3 hours
Weather: Warm and showery, warm and sunny for the last hour
Comments: Surprisingly, after the previous day's rain, 25 people met at Wheelton for a varied walk along tracks, some field paths and the canal bank. If time allowed it would be interesting to make a diversion into Withnell Fold
