Hull Pot, Ribble Way
||SD 810 695
||A mild day, very misty in
the morning. Cloud lifting in the afternoon but covering fell tops
||Eleven walkers set off for this outing
to Pen-y-Ghent. Unfortunately, as we climbed, we were enveloped in
low cloud and this stayed with us until we descended to Foxup Moor.
The cloud did lift in the afternoon, although it still covered the
fell tops. We did however get a glimpse of sun as we crossed Horton
Moor, and the weather stayed fine until the end of the walk.

Ramblers accommodation in Helwith Bridge???
Heading up the track to join the path to . . .

The going gets steeper on the far side of Plover Hill . . .
as the mist briefly clears
John circumnavigates Hull Pot . . .
which is on a pretty impressive scale
Eventually we join the Ribble Way at Horton in Ribblesdale . . .
for the walk back to Helwith Bridge
