Walk: Lingmoor, Pike of Blisco and Hodge Close
Start Point: Walthwaite Bottom Grid Ref: NY 330 051
Distance: 14.5 miles Ascent: 4,300 feet
Time: 7 hours
Weather: Broken cloud with light rain prior to starting the walk.
Comments: Walking anti-clockwise we first encountered Lingmoor Fell and by now the skies had broken. Pike of Blisco followed and we were rewarded by excellent views from the top. Unable to find the path down Wrynose Beck, we headed for Three Shire Stones then followed the road to Bell Foot Bridge. Contouring around Betsy Crag for Hodge Close and tracks to lead us back to Elterwater. Despite using some roads the walk seemed to be enjoyed by all, if a little tired at the end. With excellent visibility all day it was a shame that the leader forgot his camera.

Photos to follow (hopefully)
