Walk: Green Bell, Randy Gill Top, Kensgriff, Yarlside, Bowderdale Head, Cautley Spout, The Calf, Hazelgill Knott, West Fell, Bowderdale
Start Point: Beneath the A685 at Wath Grid Ref: NY 684 050
Distance: 14 miles Ascent: 3,600 feet
Time: 6.5 hours    
Weather: A fine sunny day with excellent visibility.
Comments: Four walkers joined the leader on this visit to the Howgills. The weather was perfect, the views superb and it was unanimously agreed that we had had a good walk.

From Randy Gill summit we dropped down heading for Kensgriff with Wild Boar Fell in the distance

We keep climbing up following Red Gill Beck . . .

When we reach the ridge there are very clear views across to Morecambe Bay
