Walk: Out on the Pennine Way, up to Airton. On through Calton Village, down into Cowper Cote. Passing Friars Head Farmhouse former hunting lodge for the Abbots of Furness.

Weather: Mainly Dry Light Winds
Comments: Gargrave the Honeypot village situated between Settle and Skipton on the A65. 15 walkers set out from North Street Car Park in dry conditions, On the Pennine way called in to Airton the former Quaker village. Had lunch stop at Farlands Laithe, Views of Flasby Fell, also the route follows in part the course of the youthful River Aire, which later grown in stature flows through the City of Leeds.
