Walk: Fusedale Valley, Wether Hill, Loadpot Hill, Bonscale Pike and Arthurs Pike
Start Point: Pooley Bridge Grid Reference: NY 471 244
Distance: 13.5 miles Ascent: 2,300 feet
Time: 6 hours
Weather: Some sunshine with scattered showers and fairly strong winds
Comments: Our route took us part way along the lake shore to cross Dormont farm then paths to Mellguards (above Howtown). Turning into Fusedale and following the beck we reached High Street/Loadpot Hill ridge. Turning north we then arrived at Wether Hill followed by Loadpot. Leaving the main path back to Pooley Bridge we headed for Bonscale Hill and Arthurs Pike. Our last leg found us going through Park Foot caravan park and part of the lake shore path. A good day was had by all with excellent views most of the day.
