Start Point:
Black Bull (Old Langho) BB6 8AW
Grid Reference: SD 701 359
Distance: 3 miles Ascent: 300 feet
Time: 2 hours
Weather: Dry and liquid sunshine

To show solidarity with Blackpool FC after their previous weekend 2-0 loss to Blackburn Rovers 25 hardy souls set off for a 5 mile walk which passes Blackburn Rovers football and training ground (see photos).

It was a walk of two halves starting with bright sunshine before too much rain, a very high river, and blocked woodland paths from extensive storm damage prompted an early return.

The leader received the Group's coveted muddy walk trophy and confirmed this crowned all his previous professional and personal achievements.

Thank you to Norman for the photos, for the visit to the churchyard next to the pub to see the thoughtful memorial to all who does at the former brockhall Hospital.
