Walk: Stainforth, Winskill Stones, Jubilee Cave, Attermire Scar, Pennine Bridleway / Way to Mallam Tarn, Knowe Fell, Catrigg Force
Start Point: Stainforth car park Grid Reference: SD 820 672
Distance: 16 miles Ascent: 2,500 feet
Time: 6.75 hours
Weather: Showers
Comments:

We were very fortunate with the weather today only getting caught in the odd shower even though there was rain all round us. With no summits to climb the seven on the walk were able to walk at a steady pace following well defined paths like the Pennine Bridleway and the Pennine Way. After a very well planned lunch stop! all that changed as we headed back to Stainforth from Malham Tarn crossing Malham Moor which was very wet and boggy under foot in places, but still very scenic.

We stopped on Winskill Stones for a group photo

Jubilee Cave

Yes, we had to pass through this field!

It looks much safer from this side of the wall

Looking back to Warrendale Knotts

We eventually reached summut!

Lunch stop of the year at Malham Tarn House Field Centre

Crossing Malham Moor

The wild flowers in the fields near the end were quite beautiful
