Walk: Ski Rossendale, Top of Slate, Goodshaw Hill, Love Clough, Goodshaw Fold, Kippax Mill, Gin Clough, Carr Bank Farm, Cribden End Farm
Start Point: Whitaker car park Grid Reference: SD 803 230
Distance: 9 miles Ascent: 1,600 feet
Time: 5.5 hours
Weather: Fine, hazy & mild. The winds and relatively dry weather of the past few weeks had dried up many of the muddiest areas experienced in our reccies.
Comments: 12 Walkers. We covered stretches of the Shoe Trail, the Rossendale Way and the Round the Hills Walk and visited the Halo, whhich is one of the Lancashire Panopticans.
