Comments: Fields and tracks. Fair number of stiles slowed the party of 27 walkers, especially on the return.
Suitable break at the interesting Ladywell Grotto and Retreat centre. Attractive walk through the woodlands of the estate of Haighton House. On the outward walk Chingle Hall, with the remnants of a moat, is an interesting landmark.
