Walk: Ribchester Bridge, Salesbury Hall and “Calving Live” event
Start Point: Bonny Inn, Salesbury Grid Reference: SD 679 329
Distance: 5.5 miles Ascent: 400 feet
Time: 3 hours
Weather: Glorious snshine
Comments: A panoramic promenade and a photographed live birth (thank you Norman) at the bovine maternity unit of a farm en route. The walk was shortened up a convenient lane for what turned out to be a feast at The Bonny Inn where we had our 5 vegetables a day with our meal all in one go!
