Walk: Windy Hill Farm, Strawberry Bank, St Sunday’s Bridge, Bleasehall Wood and Barrows Green
Start Point: Oxenholme Railway Station Grid Reference: SD 531 901
Distance: 7.6 miles Ascent: 726 feet
Time: 5 hours
Weather: Dry, sunny with a cool breeze
Comments: Fourteen people took part in this circular walk from Oxenholme Railway Station.  It passed through Old Hutton and Stainton CP using field paths, lanes and farm tracks and many stiles.  This was an undulating walk and on the way such things as Blackthorn Blossom, May flowers, Bluebells, Swallows and an Owl could be seen.  The weather was kind with good visibility which enabled the countryside to be seen at its best.
