Walk: Yewdale Fells & Holme Fell
Start Point: Coniston Grid Reference: SD 304 975
Distance: 10.5 miles Ascent: 2,500 feet
Time: 5.5 hours
Weather: Cold winds but with sunshine all day
Comments: Six hardy souls attended the walk on a cold and windy day and were treated to clear blue skies and excellent panoramic views in the clear crisp air. Underfoot we had hard frozen ground with a covering of snow on the higher hills.
