Walk: Above Beck, Pike Gill Wood, Alcock’s Farm, Outhwaite, Wray Wood Moor, Harterbeck, Pedder Gill, Low Salter, Barkin Bridge, Concessionary Footpath through Outhwaite Wood, Kitten Bridge.
Start Point: Bridge House Farm Tearoom Car Park, Wray Bridge, Wray Grid Reference: SD 606 674
Distance: 8.3 miles Ascent: 1,200 feet
Time: 5 hours
Weather: Dry and overcast at the start, but rained most of the time apart from the last 45 minutes. Strong winds above Pedder Gill. Poor visibility.
Comments: 21 walkers. No other walkers seen all day (must have been the weather!). The stile on the concessionary footpath at SD 602 639 still has barbed wire over the top, despite a promise from the Forest of Bowland Rangers that this would be dealt with after our first reccie at the beginning of December. A further reminder was sent 2 weeks before the walk.

It was a day for full wet weather gear from the start
