Walk: Murton Pike, Murton Fell, Pennine Way, High Cup Nick
Start Point: Dufton Grid Reference: NY 689 250
Distance: 13 miles Ascent: 2,600 feet
Time: 6 hours
Weather:

Very wet and windy in the morning, dry and sunny in the afternoon

Comments:

Just two stalwarts joined the leader for this walk in the Central Pennines. As the tops were covered with mist I decided to reverse the walk direction and do the field walking first, hoping that the tops would clear. This was only half successful as we did get to see High Cup Nick but got drenched in the long wet grass early on

Pretty but wet
