6 (fool?)hardy walkers set out in hail to walk up to Barden Moor where we were nearly blown off, and then to the reservoir, Barden Tower, and along the River Wharfe, the water lapping the path to the Abbey. Unfortunately the stepping stones by the Abbey were under water so we could not use them and had to use the bridge. When we finished we all agreed that it was a good walk and the views would have been lovely had we seen them. The leader and the writer then adjorned for well earned tea, and cake!
