Walk: Ingleton out to Masongill
Start Point: Ingleton public car park Grid Reference: SD 693 730
Distance: 9 miles Ascent: 1,680 feet
Time: 5.5 hours
Weather: A sunny Autumnal day, which lasted throughout the walk.

13  walkers set out from the Ingleton Visitors' Centre public car park. We climbed out and upwards on The Nature Trail to reach Thornton Hall. Taking an uphill footpath we climbed steadily on past Cowgill Farm and onto Fellside. On the outskirts of Masongill we stopped for coffee. On past Masongill Hall we walked through the village heading towards Masongill Fell Lane where we climbed steadily for 3 miles to reach North End Scar where we turned right across the open fell. On reaching Cheese Press Stone we stopped for lunch. After lunch it was a steady downward track back, passing Twisleton Hall eventually onto Oddies Lane and our arrival back at Ingleton
