Walk: Crag, High Jack Field Farm, Brush and Bailden Farms, Farling Ing Top Fold, Cowling, Ickornshaw (on the Pennine Way), Cinder Hill Lane, Ridge Mill Bridge, Lumb Mill, Glusburn Bridge, Lyndhurst Wood
Start Point: Main Street, Sutton in Craven Grid Reference: SE 007 441
Distance: 6.8 miles Ascent: 850 feet
Time: 4.2 hours
Weather: Heavy overnight rain continued for most of the walk with very strong and gusty wind. More showery after lunch.
Comments:

11 walkers set out with the intention of climbing and walking along Earl Crag. However, given the strength of the wind, the leader decided that Earl Crag was better left to another day and the walk was shortened from Brush Farm, by cutting through Cowling to Ickornshaw.
