Walk: Wray, Hornby, Melling, Wrayton, Wennington, Roeburndale
Start Point: Wray Bridge Grid Reference: SD 605 674
Distance: 16.5 miles Ascent: 1,600 feet
Time: 7.5 hours
Weather:
Very humid with rain showers
Comments:

Seven walkers attended for this walk in the Lune valley. This was a departure from the normal two walk (no mountains or moorland), and most of the climbing was over stiles. However, it was very pleasant to wander through the meadows for a change and meet the odd cow or two.

There is a path here somewhere

Loyn Bridge undergoing some remedial work

Morning break in the shelter of this massive ash (I think)

Ingleborough appears above the trees

Interesting wood sculpture

Railway waiting rooms are good for lunch stops too

The good life in Roeburndale

The Roeburn river

Still smiling
