Walk: Hollow Moor, Shipman Knotts, Kentmere Pike, Harter Fell, NanBield Pass and Kentmere Reservoir
Start Point: Kentmere Grid Reference: NY 458 039
Distance: 13 miles Ascent: 3,550 feet
Time: 7.5 hours
Weather: A cold start but warming up as the clouds and mist cleared leaving blue skies before clouding over once again.
Comments:

Planned as a grade 3 walk but changed to a 2 with full agreement from all attending.  With temperatures rising and skies clearing, a low level section of the walk was substituted by a high level section i.e. Kentmere Pike.
A good day was had with good views and pleasant weather although a little chilly at Nan Bield pass.
Six people joined me for the walk including John from the Chorley Group.
Summer must be just around the corner.
