Walk: Parsonage Farm, Ox Hey, Hothersall Hall and Ribchester
Start Point: Ribchester Car Park Grid Reference: SD 649 352
Distance: 4 miles Ascent: 320 feet
Time: 2.5 hours
Weather: The sun was thwarted by thin cloud, dry and cool
Comments:

A pleasant walk in the Ribble Valley which commenced at the old Roman Fort of Bremetennacvm (better known as Ribchester).  The route was by the way of field paths, tracks and a quite lane.  Recent frost had dried up many fields but there was the odd “Claggy” bit. Fifteen people took part in the walk that offered pleasant views of the Ribble Valley.  It was too cold to visit the Roman Baths in the village
