Walk: Bentham Bridge, Stoneley Bridge, Mill Dam, Clarks Gill, Mewith Head Hall, Clapham Woods, Skew Bridge, Upper Hardacre Well, Ridding Lane
Start Point: High Bentham car park Grid Reference: SD 667 693
Distance: 9.75 miles Ascent: 1,000 feet
Time: 6 hours
Weather: A  few showers early to start, the day then remained dry and clear.

16 walkers set out from the car park at High Bentham following the river to Bentham Bridge. We crossed farmland and varying wall stiles out to Stoneley Bridge and Mill Dam. More farmland pathways took us up to Clarks Gill for our Coffee stop. Onwards after Coffee and a fairly straight path passing Mewith Head Hall. We made our way out to Clapham Woods and eventually a stop at Skew Bridge for a riverside lunch stop. After lunch we headed across the railway line and up to Upper Hardacre well into our route for the homeward journey. A few more wall stiles and farmland pathways took us onto Ridding Lane and across the rail line again to a straight pathway back into the centre of High Bentham.
