Walk: Stickle Tarn(nearly), Sergeant Man, High Raise, Thunaker Knott and Pike Howe.
Start Point: New Dungeon Ghyll Grid Reference: NY 294 064
Distance: 6 miles Ascent: 2,500 feet
Time: 4.5 hours
Weather: Rain, heavy rain, sleet, some of the white stuff and not forgetting strong winds with mist on the tops.
Comments:

From the car park our initial route took us up the main path towards Stickle tarn. With heavy rain now taking hold I somehow feared of the main path up keeping well away from the gayly and instead ascended Tarn Crag.Rain had now passed through sleet to snow as we turned away from the tarn for Sergeant Man. High raise and Thunaker Knott beckoned as we headed for Pavey Ark. With poor visibility finding Pavey Ark became a problem and so with cold wet hands and feet we called it a day, descending via the tarn and Pike howe for the car. As this walk had only just been put on the programme there was only two people on the walk.
