Walk: Scorton Lake, Street and Guy’s Guide Camp
Start Point: Scorton Picnic Site Grid Reference: SD 504 503
Distance: 5.5 miles Ascent: 125 feet
Time: 3 hours
Weather: Sunny and warm, dry under foot

This circular walk is just North of Scorton village and traverses areas which fifty years ago contained Sand/Gravel pits.  The pits have now become fishing ponds and nature has taken over a lot of the surrounding area making a pleasant area to walk in. Meandering through the former gravel pits is the River Wyre and the Wyre Way.  Refreshment and toilets are available in nearby Scorton village.
