Walk: Ullswater, Rattlebeck Bridge, Lanty’s Tarn, Grisedale Tarn
Start Point: Parking area by Stybarrow Crag Grid Reference: NY 387 179
Distance: 12 miles Ascent: 3,500 feet
Time: 6.25 hours
Weather: Near gale force winds and poor visibility

Four walkers set off in the hope that the weather would take a turn for the better. In the event it took a turn for the worse and we decided on reaching Dollywagon Pike that it would be sensible to save the ridge for another day.
