Walk: Steel Knotts, High Raise, Kidsty Pike, Brock Crags, Angletarn Pikes, Beda Fell
Start Point: St. Peter’s Church, Martindale Grid Reference: NY 436 191
Distance: 13.5 miles Ascent: 3,800 feet
Time: 6.75 hours
Weather: A dry day with good sunny spells in the morning becoming overcast in the afternoon
Comments:

Two regulars and two guests from the Penrith Ramblers joined me on this walk around Martindale. The weather in the morning was very good and we had some excellent views. Unfortunately, the mist descended for a time, but nevertheless we still managed to get the odd glimpse of a view from the higher fells. Overall a very pleasant day’s walk.
