Walk: Benson’s Lane , White Horse Bridge, High Park Head Farm, Lancaster Canal, Moon’s Bridge Marina, Cuddy Hill and Eaves
Start Point: The Plough at Eaves Grid Reference: SD 494 375
Distance: 5 miles Ascent: Little
Time: 3 hhours
Weather: Mainly warm and sunny with a pleasant breeze

The walk took place in the Boroughs of Preston and Wyre.  The route was by way of field paths, quiet lanes and a canal tow path.  Seventeen people were led by a youngish lady who was leading for the first time.  It was a good walk, and although mainly flat, offered views of the nearby Pennines.  The Plough at Eaves offered good food and speedy service
