Comments: | 12 Walkers set out from Shore Road crossing the Headland and onto Castle Bank. We entered the footpath into Eaves Wood taking a circle of Hawes Water where we stopped for coffee. On across fields and the area of Gait Barrows making for the short road stretch through Yealand Storrs. Once again taking an uphill footpath from the road to enter a wooded path taking us up into Leighton Hall Estate for our lunch stop. Down from Leighton Hall we met the Silverdale road where we took a pathway across Leighton Moss to arrive at the shoreline and our route below the Headland, we then picked up the area of Jack Scout and our roadway back to Shore road |
