Walk: Marton Mere and Stanley Park, Blackpool
Start Point: The Plough, Staining Grid Reference: SD 348 361
Distance: 5.5 miles Ascent: 66 feet
Time: 3 hours
Weather: Mainly sunny (enough to warm ones back)

The co-leaders took the group of thirty six around Marton Mere and then through Stanley Park before returning to Staining for lunch. The route was mainly on hard surfaces but with a little mud in parts.  Pleasant sunshine added a little warmth and there were signs of new growth along the way.  The Plough provided good food and service
