Walk: Burnsall, Thorpe, Linton, Linton Falls
Start Point: School House Tea Rooms, Hebden Grid Reference: SE 026 630
Distance: 8.5 miles Ascent: 500 feet
Time: 5 hours
Weather: Rain, Drizzle, and overcast for most of the day, brightening up for last 2 miles.

5 walkers set out from The Old Tea Rooms Hebden following Hebden Beck on our route to Burnsall,  passing over the Suspension Bridge crossing the River Wharfe at the end of Burnsall Lane.  Into Burnsall we took time to check out the facilities before heading over field and wall crossings in the direction of the village of Thorpe. Arriving in Thorpe later than expected and the rain now a little heavier we decided to make this our Lunch stop, and found seating in the walled garden in the village centre. After lunch our heading was towards Linton crossing tarmac roadways and farmland footpaths. Into the village of Linton taking a few moments to check out the village viewing the 2 stone bridges and memorials. Making our way out of Linton we were heading down to meet the River Wharfe and on to Linton Falls. Leaving the Falls we took a footpath following the Wharfe all the way back to the suspension bridge. By this time the Sun was shining giving us a great finish along the river and eventually back along Hebden Beck and our start point
