Walk: Potters Hill, Cleveley Bridge, Scorton Lake
Start Point: Scorton Priory Cafe Grid Reference: SD 502 489
Distance: 5 miles Ascent: 368 feet
Time: 3 hours
Weather: Dry and sunny with a cool breeze in exposed areas

Two walks departed from Scorton Prior Café today.  One was of three miles in length and the main walk was five miles long.  The main group took a quiet lane to the foot of Nicky Nook but instead of a steep climb took a lane heading nor-nor- east.  Part way along the lane a field path was taken to Potters Hill.  Using local lanes, the group then made their way to Cleveley Bridge via Foxhouses Farm Cottages.  From Cleveley Bridge the route was via the Wyre Way to return to Scorton.  There are a number of small lakes in the area and on a clear day the Fylde Coast can be seen.  Lunch was taken at Scorton Priory Café where the food and service was of good standard.
